The Story

Frank Wright is the patriarch — a self-made man who has built his company from the ground up. At the top of his mountain, commanding respect and running his empire with iron authority, Frank believes there is nowhere to go but up.
Then life knocks him flat.
Suddenly bedridden and unable to run his business, Frank finds himself at the mercy of his family — and the results are anything but comforting. His wife Crystal does her devoted best. His daughters and sons have wildly competing ideas about the future. And his brother Robert has opinions about everything and the volume to match.
What follows is a sharp, hilarious, and unexpectedly heartfelt dark comedy about power, family loyalty, and what happens when the person everyone depended on suddenly can't get out of bed.

Shaw co-wrote the screenplay with Derek Thompson, directing from the script they built together.
